It's confirmed. Raja Petra will be held under ISA for the next 2 years and his habeas corpus application was rejected. I am not surprised that Raja Petra was arrested. Let's face it…. the Malaysian government is a HYPOCRITE. The Malaysian Government says that Malaysia is a democratic country but what's the point of labeling 'Democracy' to Malaysia when nobody has the full right of Freedom of Speech?

Every country has laws and I think the Internal Security Act (ISA) is bullshit and are for pussies. Why is the Malaysian Government so afraid of Raja Petra? If he did something wrong, make a lawsuit and allow him a fair trial. If they think that Raja Petra is a threat to the country, why don't they just oust him to another country?! I am sure that many other developed countries would be more than happy to have Raja Petra as their citizen.

We should be proud that Raja Petra is brave enough to put out the clear-cut facts with no censorship. We should have more people like Raja Petra. Arresting *controversial* bloggers is ok but denying him the right to a fair trial is totally ridiculous.

In my opinion, Pak Lah is one of the dumbest and slowest Prime Ministers in the world. Pak Lah should retire at once and let someone else lead the country.

This is old news but since I just created this blog yesterday, I'll go ahead and vent out some things regarding the recent Avril Lavigne Concert Controversy. For those of you who don't know what happened, here's what happened:

PAS Youth of Federal Territory called a ban towards the Avril Lavigne Concert

Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage denies concert permit

Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage gives the green-light for the concert to go on

PAS Youth says that Avril Lavigne is too sexy and the concert must not go on because it is not respectful to the coming month Ramadhan. This is total bullshit! This is just another 'political move' by PAS. If they are worried that the people will be influenced by Avril's punk rock style, why don't they just ban Muslims from going the concert instead of banning the concert altogether? This shows that PAS as a whole is very narrow-minded and jealous. Yes…. jealous! Maybe they wanted to go to the concert but if the Barisan Nasional were to find out about it, then BN could use it as a knife towards them In my opinion, PAS should be banned and not Avril Lavigne!

The Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage says no to the concert after PAS voice out their opinions and not long after that, the Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage then changed their minds to permit the concert to go on. PAS did say that they will bring thousands of 'Muslim' (Muslim just according to the MyKAD or Muslim by practice? I don't know….!!?) and this may have made the Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage to ban the concert but what they don't realize is that if the concert was banned, HUNDRED THOUSANDS of people will do a demonstration at Putrajaya. So maybe after realizing that, the the Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage decided to let the concert to take place.

Banning a concert will not improve the lives of the people and will also definitely not prevent a moral downgrade of society.

A MESSAGE to ALL POLITICAL PARTIES in Malaysia (Especially UMNO, BN & PAS): Fix yourselves FIRST before 'trying' to fix the rakyat!

Here are some articles that would 'definitely' be of interest to you:

Merdeka! Today is the 51st Independence Day for Malaysia and throughout those 51 years, a lot has happened economically and politically.

Economically, Malaysia has a very strong economic infrastructure, thanks to Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad but with the recent worldwide oil price increase, it seems that the rate of inflation are also increasing.

Politically, it's a shit hole. Malaysia's political structure, especially UMNO and Barisan Nasional are on the rocks. The Barisan Nasional and UMNO have ruled the country extremely well but when they broke their promise not to increase the oil price, all hell broke loose. The 'rakyat' are extremely furious at the Barisan Nasional and this can be seen when the Parti Keadilan Rakyat won a majority of the state of Selangor in the recent National Election Day.

All in all, Malaysia is still a very good country to live in but if you have the money, you'd be better off living in Australia
